Wayne Clayton King, age 74 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 9, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith and a member Midway Baptist Church. Wayne was a loving husband of twenty-five years, and a loving Uncle that enjoyed spending time with his family.

He also enjoyed going to church and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by parents Cecil Estes and Ruth McCulley King; brother James Albert King; special nephews Duran Stanfield and Aaron Jordan. He is survived by spouse Mary Linda Bailey King of Jacksboro; brother Kenneth King, Jimmy King & wife Denise, both of LaFollette; sister Virginia “Ginny” Lay & husband Otis of LaFollette; host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, & special family Pastor Johnny Dabney & wife Teresa.

Visitation will begin at 5 PM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Midway Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow visitation with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating.

Friends and family will meet 10:15 AM Friday, July 13, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11 AM interment.
