OBITUARY Wayne Cox February 7, 1933 – February 4, 2019 Maxie Wayne Cox, 85, of Brandon, passed from this life Monday, February 4, 2019. Visitation will be 11:00am-12:00pm, Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Wayne was born February 7, 1933, in New Hebron, Mississippi, a son of the late Maxie Wayne Cox and Mary Levonia Kimbrell Cox. Wayne married Carolyn Kisner in 2009. Wayne was a very hardworking and enterprising individual.

Throughout his career he established and operated several businesses including a salvage yard, real estate and rental properties, and Cox Farms, where he raised cattle. Wayne was a kind man, and was always willing to help others. His favorite times were spent watching and counting the cows with his wife, Carolyn.

Survivors include his wife of nine years, Carolyn Kimbrell Cox; daughters, Kathy LeBlanc, and Janet Lambert and husband David; step-daughters, Renee Frazier, and Teresa Raymond and husband Allen; sisters, Dianne Sullivan, Patsy Abernathy, Carolyn Jennings, and Brenda Nichols; brother, Jerry Cox; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. FAMILY Carolyn Kimbrell Cox, Wife Kathy LeBlanc, Daughter Janet Lambert, Daughter Renee Frazier, Step-Daughter Teresa Raymond, Step-Daughter Dianne Sullivan, Sister Patsy Abernathy, Sister Carolyn Jennings, Sister Brenda Nichols, Sister Jerry Cox, Brother Mr. Cox is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
