Wayne “Kerry” Kerrison, age 64, of Oak Hill, died Monday, May 14 at Halifax Hospice Edgewater. Born in Edgewater, Kerry was a lifetime area resident and a retired long haul truck driver. A graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, he was a member of Shady Grove Church of God and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was also a musician, having played bass guitar for the band “Side Kick”. Survivors include a son, Wayne of Oak Hill; parents, Dot and James Burch of Oak Hill; two brothers, Bruce (Sharon) Burch and Jimmy (Karen) Burch, both of Oak Hill; a sister, Valerie Burch, of Oak Hill; life partner, Meshelle Leveille of Edgewater; two grandchildren; and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Kerrison.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16 at Shady Grove Church of God, with brother Jimmy Burch officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
