Obituary for Wayne Lawrence Hale Wayne Lawrence Hale, age 62 of Tazewell, VA died Monday, December 3, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He was born August 19, 1956 and was a son of the late Glen Lawrence Hale and Mary Louise Wells Hale. Wayne had worked for many years as a carpenter, having worked with a few local contractors.

He loved to fish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Marie Turley; one brother Gary Douglas Hale. Those who survive to cherish his memory include his loving companion of over thirty years, Kay Crouse; children, Jeremy Wayne Hale and companion, Patricia Goodman of Tazewell, VA, Rick Mutter and wife, Dawn of Maryland, Robbie Crouse and wife, Angie of Arkansas and Paula Billips and husband, Rex of Bluefield, VA; one sister, Sheryl Ann Hess of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Parker Wayne Hale of Tazewell, VA, Cleveland Dylan Hale of Roanoke, VA, Alic Hass, Keerstin Hass and Tyler Hass of Tazewell, VA, Lindsey Billips, Parker Crouse and Zack Crouse; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Connor Hass; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.

In honoring Wayne’s wishes, his body will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date. Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA is serving the family of Mr. Hale and those wishing to express sympathy online may do so at www. hurstscottfuneralhomes.com.
