An Angel of Silence entered unexpectedly to give eternal peace and rest to Weldon Lavon Carr Jr He passed away quietly on 5 Dec 2018 at his home. He has left a void in the hearts of many friends and family member.

He was born on November 7, 1964 in Daingerfield, TX to Weldon Lavon Sr and Charlesetta Carr. Weldon Jr. was affectionately known by friends and family as “JunBug”, “Uncle Bug”, or “Junior”. He attended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Tx and later obtained his GED.

During his lifetime he worked as a carpet layer, metal specialist, Assistant Manager @ McDonald’s and finally as a union member Display Decorator at Iupat District Council 88. He had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and attended SOW Church as his church home. He was an artist at heart, and he leaves behind wonderful works of art that bring delight to all who view them.

He was preceded in death by his father Weldon Lavon Carr Sr. and brother Jason Shannon Carr. He is survived by his wife of 19 yrs Shirley Carr, his mother Charlesetta Carr; five sons, Laquantis Jefferies (Tishira), Raymon Scarbough, Jarrod Ransom, Dewalon and Shannon Carr; 5 sisters Sharon Michelle, Kimberly, Bridgitte (Tron), Jacqueline(Malcolm), Jacqueline (Chabari), and Linda; 6 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
