Obituary for Wendy Crass Mays Mrs. Wendy Crass Mays, age 57 of Wingo, Ky passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 9:59 AM at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Ky. She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Wingo, where she founded the Wesley Warriors Children’s Program; She was also a member of the Gideon’s Ladies Auxiliary; Wendy worked as a Public Assistance Program Specialist for the State of Kentucky. Mrs. Mays is survived by her husband- Russell Kent Mays of Wingo, Ky; two sons- Michael Camden Mays of Wingo, Ky and Nathan Russell Mays of Richmond, Ky; her mother- Ercyleen Shelton Crass Williams of Wingo, Ky; her father- David Fayne Crass of Hickman, Ky; two sisters- Cindy Crass of Wilmington, Nc and Shannon Crass Usher of Mayfield, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents- Chester & Govie Shelton; and grandparents- Fayne & Ernestine Crass. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Rev. Kenny Locke and Rev.

Steve Howe officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.

Pallbearers will be: David Clark, Teddy Mays, Morgan Norsworthy, Buck Shelton, Shelton Puckett, Shane Tibbs. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mark Crass, Mark Spillman, Robert Eubanks, Eddie Puckett, Kerry Booth, and Chuck Roberts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Wendy’s Share The Cross Ministry, c/o St. Paul United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 3, Wingo, Ky 42088.
