Obituary for Mrs. Wilda Shakesnider Mrs. Wilda Shakesnider Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mrs. Wilda Shakesnider, 78, who entered eternal rest, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery in Grand Coteau, LA. Mrs. Shakesnider is survived by her children, Joseph Larry Colomb of Sunset, LA, Joseph Glenn Shakesnider (Diane), Connie Shakesnider (Louis) and Larry James Shakesnider (Stacey) all of Opelousas, LA; three sisters, Eva Roberts Colomb, Lucille Roberts Lemon Savant and Hilda Roberts Savoy (Joseph Wilton) all of Opelousas, LA; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Mrs. Shakesnider was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Shakesnider; her parents, Lucien Roberts & Edna Singleton Roberts; a son, John Craig Shakesnider; one great grandson, Aaron Joshua Hicks, III; two brothers, Adam Joseph Roberts and Dieu-Donna Roberts. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:00 AM to 12:45 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Williams Funeral Home. Share words of comfort with the Shakesnider family at www.
