Wilfred “Will” Leo Gauthier, 75, of Franklin, went to the Lord on Oct. 13, 2018. He was born in Montpelier, VT the son of Wilfred and Katherine (Rouelle) Gauthier.

Will was raised in Montpelier and resided in Franklin over 40 years. For many years, he participated in the “Walk for Hunger” in Franklin. He enjoyed county music and would yodel for anyone who would listen.

Will was a member of St. Paul Church and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He mostly enjoyed being with his family. He was predeceased by his mother and father, a sister, Marion Morrison and a brother, Robert Gauthier.

Wilfred is survived by his wife, Druscilla (Keniston) Gauthier, 2 daughters, Tina Leach of Bristol and Ann Lajoie and son-in-law Roger Lajoie of Tilton, 5 grandchildren: Christopher Leach of Bristol, Gunnar Mattson of Concord, Cassie Whitten of Springbranch, TX, Tyler and Caiti Lajoie of Tilton, 2 great grandchildren, Khaleesi Whitten and Jamie McCarrick of Springbranch, TX, 2 sisters: Barbara Prentice of PA and Nancy Durgin of Barrytown, VT a brother, James Gauthier of Cabot, VT, and nieces and nephews. A funeral services will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, on Friday, Oct. 19th at 11 am.

Visitation will be from 10 – 11 am. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
