Mrs. Wilhelmenia McNair, 78 of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 4, 2018. She was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1940 in Raeford to the late Zinious B. Haynes and Dorothy McPhaul. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis McNair and her brothers, Preston McPhaul, Leo B. Haynes and Zinious B. Haynes, Jr.; her sisters, Gollie A. Daniels and Julia P. Sydnor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis McNair and her brothers, Preston McPhaul, Leo B. Haynes and Zinious B. Haynes, Jr.; her sisters, Gollie A. Daniels and Julia P. Sydnor. She is survived by her three sons, Joseph McNair, David Asberry McNair, and James Curtis McNair, Jr. all of Raeford; three daughters, Mary Ann (Morris) Cole, Dorothy McNair and Brenda McNair all of Fayetteville; brothers, John E. Haynes (Roslind) of Maryland and Phillips Haynes (Catherine Johnson) of Fayetteville; Ella M. McMillan of Fayetteville, Hattie McNair of Maryland, Sarah D. Daniels of New Orleans, La. , and Ozella Medley of Forestville, Md.

; 29 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and two God children, Teresa Harris and Michelle Harris. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Cape Fear Conference B Center 10225 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC with Pastor Bennie L. Kelly officiating.

Burial will follow at Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
