She was known as Grandma Honey or MeMaw to everyone. She had a giggle and sense of humor that will be greatly missed. She loved taking care of her family and Zoey, her yorkie.

When she wasn’t babysitting her grandkids or great grandkids, she enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, painting ceramics, sewing, and cooking. She could run a rubber band line, clean a catfish or turtle better and faster than most men. She was creative and talented for many years sewing doll clothes, creating dolls and stuffed animals.

She enjoyed painting ceramics as well. But most will remember her for her loving ways and cooking skills. She had a warm soul that let everyone feel and know they were loved, it’s something her family never doubted.

She made the best strawberry cookies, sweet tea, tamales, goulash, chili beans and so much more. Let’s not forget the dressing and giblet gravy. Everything she made was the best because she made it with love.
