Will Galbreath, age 49, of Fisk, died Monday, April 29, 2019, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Brown Ranch Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jim Kitchens, pastor of Gouldbusk and Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Brown Ranch Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman. Will was born on January 31, 1970 in Meridian, Texas but grew up most of his life in the Fisk Community where he attended school at Mozelle and graduated from Panther Creek High School in 1989. He was a simple person who enjoyed the simple things in life such as fishing and being outdoors.

He loved animals and enjoyed spoiling them, especially cats, dogs and horses. Some of the best times of his life were spent behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler as a truck driver. In the last several years he worked for area farmers and ranchers tending the land and animals.

Will especially loved his mom’s home cooking and would often stop by with hamburger meat and ask her to make her delicious meat loaf and chocolate pudding cake for him. He enjoyed reading and knew a lot about many topics and spent many enjoyable hours arguing and debating over the issues. He was confirmed and baptized at Glenrose United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Brook Galbreath of Llano; his parents, Donna and Nicky Simonton of Fisk, Lester and Barbara Galbreath of Albany; granddaughter, Aveigh Galbreath of Llano; two brothers, George Simonton of Granbury and Stacey Galbreath of Fisk; two sisters, Carrie Salazar of San Antonio and Corlena Simonton of Buena Vista, Arizona; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Simonton, Austin Simonton, Kylie Salazar, Bella Salazar, Simon Guijosa, Tyler Guijosa, Rylee Schramm; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Tela Simonton, Cecil and Fern Simpson, Minnie and Tom Galbreath.
