Obituary William A. Salyer, 82, of Rockford passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born December 2, 1936, in Dante, Virginia, the son of Willie and Mollie (Fields) Salyer. He married Loretta Eddy and together they raised 3 daughters.

Loretta predeceased Art in 2001 and Art then was married to June in 2005. He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed listening to Elvis and country oldies.
