Sellersburg, Indiana William “Bill” Tackett, 58, entered eternal life on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He served his country in the Indiana National Guard and worked for Scheu & Kniss in Louisville. Bill was a past member of the Sellersburg Fire Department and an avid Nascar fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Joyce Tackett, Grandmother, Mary McRae and a brother, Thomas Tackett. Surviving are his wife, Debra Tackett, Charlestown, daughter, Jenna Tackett, Charlestown, brother, Steve (Tammy) Tackett, New Albany and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Saturday. Online condolences can be made at www.
