Obituary for Mr. William “Bill” Everett Story Mr. William “Bill” Everett Story, 95, of Zebulon, GA, died Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. Funeral services for Mr. Story will be held Monday, July 30, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher Day Funeral Home. Rev.

Travis Graham will officiate, and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home from 1:00 until the funeral hour. Mr. Story was born June 10, 1923, in Concord, GA, to the late C. M Story and Laura Heidle Story.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II as a tech sergeant in transportation from 1943 – 1946. He earned the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He was retired from B. F. Goodrich Martha Mills as an accountant.

Mr. Story was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Story was predeceased by his wife, Anne Mauldin Story, four brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include three nieces and caregivers: Stephanie (John) Cadenhead of Zebulon, GA; Karen Green of Griffin, GA; and Cindy Martin of Zebulon, GA, along with several nieces and nephews.
