OBITUARY William “Bill” Robert Reed June 21, 1936 – October 20, 2018 William “Bill” Reed 82, of Kansas City, MO made his transition on Saturday October 20, 2018 at NorthCare Hospice House. Bill was born on June 21, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to James H and Mildred V. Reed. He was a Supervisor of IT Operations for the Federal Department of Agricultural retiring in 1996.

Bill was loving, kind and had a special love for animals, flowers, and plants. He devoted his life as a caregiver for his family, with a special sense of humor with a love for family and friends. He was a collector of all sorts of memorabilia.

He will be missed by all. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Edward Reed; his sisters, Laura E. Colville and E. Marion Delaney; niece, Sally William Survivors include his nieces, Carrie L. (Andrew) Bell, Cherrie Bea (Randall) Tally, Connie G. Sloan; nephews, Carl D. Colville and Joe (Bonnie) Vazzano; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Reed; nieces, Sandy Purves, Linda Hamilton, Phyllis (Phil) Melsa; 16 great nieces and nephews; numerous great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Saturday October 27, 2018 at White Chapel Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday October 26, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society.
