Obituary for William “Bill” Croft William(Bill) Croft Dec. 27, 1940 – Oct. 8, 2018 Bill left this earth peacefully, surrounded by family and a few close friends on Monday October 8, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12th from 6-8 in the evening. Memorial Service and Burial will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 10am at: Skyvue Funeral Home 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd. , Mansfield, TX 76063 Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Catherine, his sister, Patricia, and his beloved dog, JB.

He is survived by his children, Ronnie(Mary Ellen), Roger(Vivian), and Teresa; his grandchildren: Brittany(Dane), Julia (Kevin), Kaitlyn, Shannon, Connor, Tyler, and Hailey (Seth); his great grandchildren: Harlee, Brody, Jett, Keeley, and Reese; his brother, Edward (Janice); his sisters: Virginia and Linda (Damon); his dear friend, Bonnie; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who love him and will miss him. Bill spent over 40 years and millions of miles on the road, driving all across America as a truck driver for Lisa Motor Lines and FW Transportation. Bill was an avid woodworker and enjoyed making small pieces of furniture in his shop.

He was a farmer at heart though, and most recently he loved nothing more than driving the tractor at the Draggin’ H Ranch. Grandpa Bill will be fondly remembered for wearing overalls with deck shoes and shirts with snaps (never buttons), being a loyal friend or father figure to anyone who needed one, calling all the girls, “Sugar”, and loving the people in his life like crazy. Rest In Peace, old man, we love you.
