Obituary for Mr. William “Billy” Edward Campbell age 63, of Keystone Heights Mr. William Edward “Billy” Campbell age 63, of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Shands UF in Gainesville following a long illness. He was born February 17, 1955, in Jacksonville at the Naval Air Station Hospital. Billy had a career working as a Welder, Steel Fitter and Machinist for corporations Allstate Steel and Whitley Steel for many years before retiring.

He enjoyed playing the drums and was intrigued with unusual and unique plants, but most of all Billy loved spending time with his family. Billy’s mother Patricia “Pat” (Shoemaker) Campbell had preceded him in death. His survivors are two daughters April Campbell of Middleburg and Nicole Campbell of Atlantic Beach and his father William “Bill” J. Campbell of Keystone Heights.

Also left behind are five siblings Bradford Scott Campbell (Kimberly) of Colbert, Georgia, Kathleen Jane Nilsen (William “Chip” Heller) of Keystone Heights, Maureen Louise Tolen of Middleburg, Pamela Annette Campbell of St. Augustine, and Kevin DeWayne Campbell (Shirley) of Keystone Heights along with six precious grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and additional family members. There will be a memorial service held at the American Legion Post #202 with the date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Legion Post #202, 7441 SR 21, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
