William “Billy” Etheridge April 5, 1954 – December 23, 2018 Mr. William “Billy” Etheridge, age 64 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. Billy was born in Austell, Georgia on April 5, 1954, the son of the late Rurel Etheridge and Eva Davis Etheridge. He worked for himself in construction for many years prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and in earlier years loved horses. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Jonathan Shelton, Carrollton, Georgia, sons, Billy Etheridge and Shawn Brumbalough, Villa Rica, Georgia, daughter-in-law, Barbara Hardcastle, Alabama; sisters, Ann Pless, Hiram, Georgia and Carol Edmondson, Arkansas. Thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Etheridge and sister, Nan Cole. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 2:00 until the funeral hour at 4:00 p.m. with Marcel Jiles officiating. After the service and in accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.
