William’s Obituary William C. Brickeen, Jr, 83, of Cahokia, Illinois, born November 3, 1935 in Dexter, Missouri, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Integrity Healthcare of Columbia, Illinois. Bill was a retired postal supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service in St. Louis, MO. He was a retired Lieutenant from the Cahokia Volunteer Fire Dept.

and past trustee of the Cahokia Fire Protection District He was an avid bowler and bowled on several leagues in the St. Louis area. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Brickeen; a daughter, Becky Grant; his parents, William and Esther, nee Acorn, Brickeen, Sr; a sister, Shirley Rogers; a brother, Robert Brickeen; a grandson, Steven Brickeen, Jr.; a granddaughter, Tiffaine Brickeen; and two great granddaughters, Mary Brickeen and Aubrey Phillips. Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, AlDoris, nee Bielefeld, Brickeen; his children, Barbara (James) Lipscomb of Cahokia, IL, Ronald (Barbara) Bickeen of Carriere, MS, Douglas (Tracy) Brickeen of Cahokia, IL, Steven Brickeen, Sr. of Cahokia, IL, Nancy (Mitchell) Cleveland of Cahokia, IL, and Jerry (Lori) Brickeen of Collinsville, IL; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Condolences may be expressed online at braunfh.com. Friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m., after which a private cremation will be held in accordance to Bill’s wishes.
