Obituary for William Conaway Davis III Blessed By the Best William C. Davis III May 1968 – 2018 Father of three wonderful children, with three lovely grandchildren. Son to a wonderful mother, and a brother to my lovely sister. In the end, Bill was doing what he loved the most.

Being with his kids as much as possible, and teaching and coaching at Parkwood High School. God puts us all on the Earth for reasons, Bill’s was being a father to his children, and teaching. He will miss his great Parkwood Family, they carried him the past year, thank you.

A twenty-year veteran of the U.S. Army, he was awarded many medals and completed multiple overseas tours. Bill is survived by his son Gregory, daughter Alexandra, and son William, daughter-in-law Erin and grandchildren Sage, Leighton and Liam. His mom Patricia, is one of the strongest ladies this world has ever had the pleasure of having.

His sister Terri and her lovely family. Three amazing companions – Buddy, Bailey and Bella – without these friends life would have been unbearable – please watch over them with love. Bill is currently catching up with his Dad, whom he missed greatly over the past couple of years.

The visitation is at 10:00AM on Friday April 6th at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28277 with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Davis children with any checks made out to: UBS Financial 13024 Ballantyne Corp Pl, Suite 650, Charlotte, NC 28277. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel.
