He was a devoted husband of Nola, a beloved father of Cheryl Shorter, Carmen (Nigel) Chung, Carla Shorter, Crystal Shorter Boyd and Casey Shorter, a loving grandfather of three and great grandfather of three, a dear sister of Cassandra Hall and a cherished cousin of Cheryl Griffin and Marylin Kay Griffin. His memory will be cherished by all who loved him.
