Obituary for William E. Ruelle William (Bill) Edmund Ruelle, 77 of Daggett MI, was called to Eternal Life Saturday December 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife and family, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay WI. Bill was born to the late Edmund and Irene (Betters) Ruelle on June 4, 1941. He was raised in Niagara WI, by his father Ed and loving mother Emily (Canavera) Recla-Ruelle.

He attended Niagara High School before joining the US Navy, receiving an honorable discharge after boot-camp. William married Susanna Mae (Streich) Ruelle of Milwaukee, WI on January 13,1961. They were blessed and raised five children.

Bill’s work ethic started at the young age of seven (7) working for the VanHoula family farm selling garden fresh vegetables door to door in Niagara WI. He was a man that worked hard to support his family, sometimes working two or more jobs. He went on to work in Milwaukee for WJ Lazinski and Kenny Construction until retiring.

He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and loved his garden. Before retiring he met Darlene (Alfirevic) Daugherty they married on April 4, 2004 in Chicago, IL. Bill is survived by his wife Darlene.

His children of his first marriage, Daughter: Yvonne (Richard) Deyo, their children Anthonie; Holland (Jill); Ricarda and Stevanna. Daughter: Yvette (Paul) Smet their children Craig (Katie); Casey and fiancé (Jenny) and Calvin. Son: Greg (Joy) their children Sarah and fiancé (Mike); James and fiancé (Samantha).

Son: Darryl (Monica) and their children Grace, Mya, and Dalton. Son: JonPaul (Valerie). Step daughter: Sue (Jeff) Leonard and their children, Brandon, Brian and Cody.

Great grandchildren: Rylee and Kendall Smet, Hayden Ruelle, Cody, Kyler, Kailani, and Kaisen Ruelle. Step-brother Eugene Recla, Numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Margaret (Ruelle) Grumbo-Kluth and her first husband Elwood Grumbo.

Step-brother Pat Recla, Daughter-in-law Crystal Ruelle, Step-son Rick Vanderveck, Grandson Levi Ruelle (Darryl & Monica), Great Grandson Muir Deyo (Holland & Jill) and unborn child of (Ricarda Deyo) At Bill’s request there will be no service, a Celebration of life event will be held in June of 2019.
