OBITUARY William Eugene Gurley May 20, 1988 – November 8, 2018 Play Tribute Movie GURLEY, WILLIAM “BILL” EUGENE, age 30 of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, November 08, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Eugene Gurley; and grandmothers, Gloria Self and June Gurley. He is survived by his sons, Colby Herd and Jayden Gurley; mother, Karen Mardis (Dave Fischer); brothers, Michael Gurley and Kyle Mardis; grandfathers, Bill Self (Shirley) and Erskine Gurley; cousins, Kassie Webster (Lance) and Kayla Meklemburg; aunt, Cheryl Kimberly; and uncle, Jeff Self (Jenna).

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne where he was a Crew Chief on a Chinook Helicopter. After his service he worked with his uncle in the construction business. Bill was a loving son, brother and father who was loyal to a fault.

His family will celebrate his life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 4-6 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel.
