William’s Obituary William F. Corse, 98 of Dallastown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, at the Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn (Spranger) Corse. The couple was married for 72 years until her passing in 2017.

Mr. Corse was born in Baltimore, MD on September 6, 1920 and was the son of the late Frank E. and Anna (Summers) Corse. William was a 1937 graduate of the George School and a 1943 graduate of Johns Hopkins. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

After his service to his country, he began working in his grandfather’s canning business, Charles G. Summers, Jr. Inc. Following working in the family business, he went on to own Colhub Printing, from where he retired. After retirement most of his time was spent at his beach house and spending time on the water, which he truly loved doing. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Corse Webb and her husband Don of York, and his son, Thomas S. Corse and his wife Deborah of York; four grandchildren, Travis W. S. Woolley and his wife Kristen of York, Laura A. Walden and her husband Rick of Los Angeles, California, Megan Mathes and her husband Brett of Portland, Oregon and Andrew S. Corse of Cary, NC.

He is also survived by his three great grandchildren, Ethan and Roth Woolley of York and Bowen Mathes, Portland, Oregon. All services are private.
