Obituary for William F. McCarthy William F. “Bill” McCarthy, 94, of Marlboro Township passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 24, 2018. He was born to the late Richard and Christina McCarthy in New York, NY. He lived in Brooklyn before moving to Marlboro Township where he resided for the past 47 years.

Bill was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. He worked on Wall Street as an Assistant Vice President of Customer Service for Harris Upham Company for 47 years before retiring. A hard working man and wonderful provider for his family, he loved and cared for his family most of all.

Bill always had a smile on his face and was grateful and appreciative of others and always willing to help. Bill was predeceased by his beloved spouse of 46 years Charlotte and son Paul McCarthy. Bill is survived by his loving children Karen Eastman of Marlboro, Barbara Ann McCarthy of New York, NY and William J. McCarthy of San Fransisco, CA, four grandchildren Shawna, Sean, Louis, Will, two great grandchildren Alexandra, and Leora.

Family and friends are invited to remember Bill during visitation held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Morganville, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 10:00 am at the Waitt Funeral Home, Morganville, NJ, with Pastor Chris Durkin officiating. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery.
