OBITUARY WILLIAM F. PITT February 21, 1938 – February 2, 2019 Franklin High School, he joined the US Navy serving two years active duty and 8 years reserve. In 1957 he married his high school sweetheart, Patsey Jean Smith. Together they worked hard, raised a loving family, and participated in their Lake McDonald community in Renton.

After retiring they traveled to more than 35 countries, drove their Little British Cars all over the West coast, and loved spending time with their friends and family, always ready for an adventure. Bill loved to play golf, explore nature in the woods and under the sea. He could build and repair almost anything and enjoyed working hard.

He was a man of character, loyal, and committed to caring for the people around him. Bill died February 2, 2019 in Kauai, their home away from home. He will be missed by his wife and love of 62 years, Patsey, his son and girlfriend, Ted Pitt and Georgie Coulter, his daughter and son-in-law, April and John Nelson, and his grandchildren, Rachael, Kaitlin, and Kyle Nelson.

A gathering to remember and celebrate Bill’s life will be held in Renton in the Spring.
