Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. William was born on October 3, 1928 and passed on to go to his heavenly home on February 8, 2019 at the age of 90 years old.

William (Bill) Stephens served his country with pride in the United States Air Force in the Korean War and in Vietnam he retired then went on to work in Civil Service to retire a second time. His love for his family was great and his passion was to travel with Jong, seeing the joy on her face spending time together sightseeing this great country. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Stephens and his mother Essie Cryer Stephens of Leesville.

Leaving behind his loving wife of 37 years Jong C. (Pat) Stephens, son; Leland Stephens (wife Liliam) of Sarasota, FL. , daughters; Delores Jane Rush of Piedmont, OK. , Lisa Nelson (husband Don) of Simpson, LA.

, sister; Ruby Chatman (husband Chuck) of Arizona, brother; Donnie Stephens of Louisiana, grandchildren; Spencer Stephens, Megan Stephens, Aaron Rush (wife Samantha), Brittany Vanderberg (husband Chad), Matthew Ladner, Mark Ladner, Mitchell Nelson, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins.
