William Franklin Young, age 60, of Woodsboro, MD died Friday, November 30, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Born December 26, 1957 in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late William and Janet Collins and was raised by his stepfather, the late Hercules Collins. He was the husband of Dorianne Young, his wife of 15 years.

In addition… Read More » to his wife he is survived by children, Tawana Griffin and husband Roschun and Jennelle Stevenson, all of DE, Sherrille Lassiter and husband Darian of MD, Jamila Young-Collins of PA, Arianne Lemon and husband Thorn of Woodsboro, Sharon and Michelle Lovett and Alana Jones, all of AL, William Curry and wife Nikki and James Vicks, all of PA and Jarel Lovett and wife Krishawnna of GA; sister, Leida Adams of VA; half-brothers, Clifford Hyson, Victor Womack, Perium McCready and Charles Alexander, all of PA; 37 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro, MD.
