Obituary for William Fred “Bill” Schmid Of the town of Ottawa. Born to life July 10, 1943 – Born to eternal life January 15, 2019. Passed peacefully in his home of natural causes with his wife and children.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 51 years Nelida (nee Möller) Schmid, sons Alex (Jessica) and Dennis (Heather) Schmid, grandchildren Elyse, Oscar, Kaelyn and Graedy. He was known as “Grandpa pops” to Elyse and Oscar and “Abuelo” to Kaelyn and Graedy. Bill immigrated to the USA from Argentina in 1972 and proudly became a citizen of the USA in 1988.

He has been a proud homeowner in the town of Ottawa since 1979. Bill Worked & retired from Trace A Matic Corp. after 35 years of service (grinding dept.

). He owned and operated A&D’s restaurant with the love of his life in Pewaukee from 1983-1988. His hobbies were spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Bill enjoyed great company and food, which often included outdoor grilling, vegetable gardening, and playing slot machines.
