William’s Obituary William G. Manieri, 72 of Willowick, passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 in Willoughby. Born November 25, 1946 in Cleveland, he’s been a Willowick resident for 42 years. He’s a retired machinist for G.E. who was very involved in church.
A member of St. Mary Magdalene Church, he was an usher at 4:30 pm Saturday mass and volunteered at the church festival. A member of K of C Council 4498, former Grand Knight and member of K.S.K.J. Lodge for 50 years.
William enjoyed bowling and loved camping. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Nada (nee Matjasic); children Tanja (Joe) Hamper Sr., William Jr., Julie (Ron) Ipavec, Jennifer (Ed) Mongenel Jr. and Jeremy; grandchildren Joseph, Tatiana, Rebecca, Alexandria, Gianna, Mackenzie and Jordan; cousin Kathy Nowakawski. He is preceded in death by his parents Rocci and Sophie; brother Frank.
Visitation will be held Wednesday February 6th from 4 – 8 pm at Jack Monreal Funeral Home, 31925 Vine Street in Willowick. Funeral mass will be held Thursday February 7th 10 am at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine Street in Willowick. William will be buried at All Souls Cemetery.
