William’s Obituary William H. Robert, III, 74, of Charlestown passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 3, 2019. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Christine A. (Gibbons) Robert. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William H. Robert, II, and Adela (Waskin) Robert.

After serving as an intelligence officer in the United States Army, Bill returned home to pursue a career in insurance. Having expertise on both the company and agency side of the insurance industry, Bill mastered the art of eating lunch and playing golf for a living. Bill was an avid golfer, reader, longtime tennis player, and always loved spending time with his family.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Scott Robert and Sarah Borowski; daughter-in-law Vivian Robert; grandchildren Scott Robert, Jr., Nicholas and Samantha Borowski; siblings Paula Pruzan, Holly O’Donnell and Christopher Robert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15th at 10am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Road, Charlestown. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
