William Joseph Kin age 87 of Upper Sandusky and formerly of rural Forest died Sat. Mar. 16, 2019 at Fairhaven Health Care Community.

He was born July 30, 1931 in Jackson Township Wyandot County to the late C. William & Ida (Barrick) Kin. Mr. Kin married Madonna L. Thiry on Oct. 25, 1952 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

He is also survived by 7 children June (Rick) Gamble, NC, Gregory (Linda) Kin, Upper Sandusky, Catherine (James) Hamilton, Findlay, Diane (John) Rodabaugh, Mt. Blanchard, Brenda (Greg) Bailey, Lima, Pamela McClain, Upper Sandusky, Douglas (Jennifer) Kin, Bowling Green, 15 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Kin was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren Brandon Hamilton, and Alexandra Morris, 2 brothers Kenneth Sr. and Eugene Kin, and 2 sisters Dorothy Kin and Gervase Pienkowski.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kirby, now named St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel. He retired from a lifetime of farming and then later as a door greeter from Walmart in Findlay. Mr. Kin was a life long member of Knights of Columbus # 2050.

He will be remembered for his devout faithfulness to the Catholic Church, and his devotion to his wife of 66 years, and the love he had for his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed.

Mar. 20, 2019 at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel, Kirby with Father Antony Varghese Vattaparambil OFM, Conv. , and Deacon Kevin Wintersteller officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Kirby. Visitation will be held Tue. Mar.

19, 2019 from 2-8PM at BRINGMAN CLARK Funeral Home with a Catholic Prayer & Remembrance Service at 7:45PM. Memorial donations may be made to Knights of Columbus #2050, Fairhaven Health Care Community, or Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 East Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
