William Johnston Flugga, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away April 29, 2019. He was born in Nashua, IA on November 16, 1934 to George and Lourene Flugga. A brilliant, loving and selfless man.

His dedication to family, church and service to others will always stand out as defining traits, along with his unique sense of humor. His service as a Sargent in the Army National Guard took him from Reno, NV to Ft. Monmouth, NJ.

He married his eternal sweetheart Flozella Tucker in 1955. They celebrated 60 years together before she passed in 2015. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister, wife Flo and son William Johnston Flugga, Jr

He is survived by his children Susan (Bob) Bolin, Scott (Michele) Flugga, Stacey (Michael, deceased) Shirra, grandchildren Alexis and Matthew Shirra, Robert (Michelle) Bolin and great grandchildren (and favorite pen pals) Katelyn, McKenzie and Trey Bolin. Visitation will be held at Tate Mortuary 110 S. Main, Tooele, Utah, Saturday May 4, 2019 at 11:00am. Graveside service will take place at 12:00pm at the Stansbury Park Cemetery.
