Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services for William H. “Junior” Dixon, Jr, age 75, who passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence in Hortense. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a member of Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Dixon and parents, William H. and Emily Dixon, Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Georgia Ann Shuman and Craig Hohman of Bloomingdale and Loretta and Rick Tayler of Douglas; four grandchildren, Christopher and Jessica Shuman, Bryan Shuman, Craig and Johanna Mathis and Melanie and Russell Weathers; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Willie Gene Dixon of Hortense; other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11am at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Thomas Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
