William Vernon Lloyd, 77 of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 5 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Van Wert Manor Nursing Home. He was born on July 4, 1941 in Van Wert, the son of the late Thomas Austin and Theah Gertude (Davis) Lloyd. On July 7, 1973 he married the former Linda K. Roberts, who survives.

Other family survivors include three daughters, Theresa (Terry) Olds of Paulding, Cheryl (Matthew) Youtzy of Grover Hill and Brenda (Bob) Tinkham of Wren, a son, Tom Lloyd of Wren; and seven grandchildren, Nathan Pruden, Braxton Pruden, Quintin Youtzy, Samantha Youtzy, Cassie Tinkham, Toby Patrick and Chirstopher Lloyd. Bill’s favorite pass time was playing with his dog Petey. A Celebration of Life on your own dinner will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Orchard Tree Restaurant.
