Obituary for William Oscar Tabers William Oscar Tabers, 89, of Sparta, Tennessee passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Life Care Center of Sparta. Bill was born Sunday, February 24, 1929 in St Louis , Missouri, to the late Mary Jones and Lloyd Tabers. Bill was a Naval veteran of W.W.II, attended George Washington University and retired from Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association after 28 years of service as a systems analyst.

Bill is survivied by his devoted friend of 58 years, Johnny Brown, 3 cherished neices, Linda, Kitty and Mary Ann. Also, his loyal Lab, Jack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Jerry Lynn and William Howard.

Oak Lawn Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sparta will be assisting the friends and family with honoring Bill’s wishes of cremation.
