William R. Hunsicker, Jr., 90, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Manor Care Health Services, Bethlehem. Born June 10, 1928 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Marie (Chinchilla) and William R. Hunsicker Sr. His wife of 57 years, Eleanor Jean (Harman) Hunsicker, passed away on March 2, 2005. William worked as a licensed plumber for over 40 years in New Jersey.

He worked in industrial, commercial and residential construction. He had also served as a crossing guard in Newark, Delaware. William was a member of the Elks Lodge #201, Mount Arlington, NJ and had attended the Allentown School District.

William is survived by his five children, Kathryn L. (Hunsicker) Coogen, wife of Allen Coogen, Huntersville, NC, Barbara E. (Hunsicker) Severns, Idaho, Brenda L. (Hunsicker) McIntyre, wife of Rick McIntyre, Lehighton, William R. Hunsicker, III, husband of Carol A. (Korzensky) Hunsicker, Blandon and Paul Hunsicker, Maryland. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, his sister, Ruth Lorkowski and his brothers, Richard Hunsicker and Gerald Hunsicker. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Hovanetz.

Memorial Services for William will be private. Inurnment will take place in the Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Allentown. Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, Fleetwood, is honored to be caring for William and his family.
