William M. Spillar, 66, of Greensburg, died Tuesday May 21, 2019 in Greensburg. He was born May 2, 1953 in New York City, a son of the late William and Patricia (Murtagh) Spillar. Prior to retirement he had been employed by U.S. Postal Service.

He was a member of St. Mathias Church, Greensburg. He was a Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW Post 33, Greensburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Kevin and Brian Spillar.

He is survived by his wife: Susan M. (Sindorf) Spillar; 2 sons, Michael Marnell and his wife Amanda of Jeannette; Evan Spillar and his companion Schalehn of Pittsburgh; 3 daughters, Christie Spillar of Jeannette; Meredith Schmadel of Greensburg and Elizabeth Spillar and her companion Timothy Bair of Greensburg; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and his sister, Patricia Stewart of Michigan. Private services and interment will be held in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
