William Terry Mackey, 70, of England, (formerly of Carlisle), passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born December 9, 1947 in Heth, Arkansas to the late William ‘Bill’ Mackey, Jr. and Minnie Louise Ward Mackey. He served in the US Army.

He worked at Lonoke Tire & Lube, Fletcher Chevrolet and Kilgore Motors. He enjoyed reading, going fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (Troy) Mackey of England; one son, David Mackey of Cabot; 6 grandchildren; Brittany (Todd) Chisolm of Caledonia, MS, Brent Mackey of Hamilton, MS, Amber Murphy and Makanna Murphy both of Detroit, AL, Elizabeth Mackey and Cory Jones both of Anderson, IN; 2 great-grandchildren, Michael and Ayden Chisolm of Caledonia, MS; one brother, Dale (Reba) Mackey of Lonoke, and special friend, Angela Matherne of England.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and brothers, Larry and Jimmy Mackey. The family will receive friends 11-12pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service following at 1pm in Old Carlisle Cemetery. Online guestbook, www.
