Obituary of William Smart Smart, William J, passed away April 7, 2018. He was born January 9, 1933 in Chestnut Hill, PA, and retired in Rio Grande, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, four children and eight grandchildren.

Bill was a member of VR 931 Air Transport Group based at Willow Grove Naval Air Station. Layout and construction was his lifelong work – his first job being center line atop the Blue Mountain / Lehigh Valley Tunnel, and his last job on airplane hangers at McGuire Airforce Base. Family and friends are invited to Bill’s memorial service at 11am on Thursday, April 12th at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, N. Cape May, NJ; viewing will be held one hour prior to service from 10am-11am.

Interment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your choice of church or charity in Bill’s memory.
