GROBY, Williard “Leigh”, age 86, from Washington Twp. , formerly of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Leigh was born to the late Willard A. and Elsa I. (nee Andrews) Groby on June 6, 1932 in Dayton, OH.

He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1950 and attended Heidelberg University. Leigh was a life-long member of David’s UC of C. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sally; son-in-law, Vince and sister, Charlotte Groby. Leigh is survived by his daughters, Karen Combs, Susie (Rob) Snyder, Cindy (Tim) Arnold and Sharon (George) Nichols; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and close family friends, Jim and Theresa Kern.

The family will greet friends from Thursday, September 27, 2018 5:00pm-7:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with a family remembrance service at 6:30pm.
