Obituary for Willie Lee Henderson Mr. Willie Lee Henderson, 84, of South Lexington Dr., died on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. He was born on July 20, 1934 in Davidson County to Willie Henderson and Louise Floyd Henderson. He served in the United States Army and retired from Hoechst Celanee as a supervisor.

He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and sang on the men’s choir; he was a Trustee and Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Arthur Henderson, Bobby Henderson and Jim Henderson and a sister, Betty Ann Jackson. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Ernestine Dalton Henderson; two daughters, Vanessa Henderson and Veronica “Lynne” Hoover; three grandsons and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Calvin (Pricilla) Henderson; a sister, Pearlie “Gate” Henderson and a host of bothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church with family visitation at 2:30 pm. Burial will be Tuesday at Salisbury National Cemetery at 10:00am. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Willie Lee Henderson please visit our Sympathy Store.
