Funeral for Willie Merle Elrod, 82, of Danville will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Cheatham Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Elrod, who died Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Danville, was born Monday, July 15, 1935, to William Green Parker and Bertie Lou Hamby Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Junior Elrod and brothers Raymond, Travis, Donald and Delmar Parker.

Survivors include: Son – Dale Elrod Daughter – Lisa Elrod Brother – Kenneth Parker 2 Sisters – Annie Jewel Daniel and Mattie Susan Dutton 5 Grand Children – Jessica Elrod Silas, Jason Glenn Elrod, Ashley Elrod Garner, Erica Nicole Thompson and Dylan Wade Elrod 7 Great Grand Children – Triston Thompson, Lydia Bradbury, Nikolai Elrod, Ashlyn Silas, Raiden Elrod, Gabriel Garner and Aerilyn Sanchez Pallbearers will be Matthias Letson, Russell French, James Burnett, Zac Garner, Adam Silas and Jason Elrod.
