A homegoing celebration for Mr. Willie Paul Jackson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday May 27, 2018 will be held on Saturday, June 9th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. , Pastor Sean Avery McMillan, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Brother Willie “Paul” Jackson went on to take his place beside the Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2018. Paul relocated to Tampa, Florida from Ft. Lauderdale, where he met and married the love of his life, Roberta L. Hammond from this union was born a son, Omarion Jackson.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Willie James Jackson, Jr., of Wrens, Georgia and Emma Lou Jackson of Goulds, Florida. Paul leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Roberta Hammond; his children, Willie (Bucky) Brown, Sharonda Jackson, Latasha Jackson (Jeremiah), Paula Henderson (Douglas) Tierra Brown, Quanda Brown, Darrenisha Jackson, Pakitta Jackson, Omarion Jackson and by marriage, Fredeja Fletcher and Frejuana Fletcher; 28 grandchildren and 2 great grand-children; his siblings, Curtis Jackson, Raymond Jackson, Kathryn Jackson, Angela Jackson and Willette Jackson; brothers-in-law, Reggie Hammond (Joyce) and Rodney Hammond (Crystal); his mother-in-law, Carolina Hammond; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
