Wilma J. Rishty, 88, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, December 8, 2018, in the SOMC Hospice Center with her family by her bedside. Born on February 5, 1930 in Columbus, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Lottie Perigo Ramey. Wilma was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling and reading.

Also preceding her in death were her husbands, James Donald Reeder in 1985 and Eli Rishty in 2010; a brother, Edward Ramey, and two sisters, Ruth Wagner and Esther Lusk. Surviving are a daughter, Lou Ann (Ray) Murphy of Sciotoville; two stepdaughters, Diane (Richard) Katz of Cincinnati and Paula (Steve) Ott of Paris, KY; two sisters, Elizabeth Cole of Wheelersburg and Pauline Carson of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Sarah, Donny, Stephanie and Jonathon and seven great-grandchildren, Niya, Shayne, Ellie, Maggie, Andrea, Eli and Roger. A service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Paula Ott officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial gifts may be made to SOMC Hospice.
