Wilma M. Loughmiller, age 93, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. She had been residing at Cherry Blossom Manor in Hart most recently. Wilma was born April 17, 1925 in Hart, the daughter of Wallace and Lelia (McLouth) Wiswell.

She was a lifelong resident of Shelby. She married Lyle Loughmiller on September 22, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1995.

Wilma was a member of Shelby Congregational United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Wilma was an avid golfer and a member of the Oceana Country Club. She is survived by her daughter, Randie Loughmiller of Kalamazoo; her son, Tom Loughmiller of Shelby; grandson, John (Julie) and daughter, Ameilia Loughmiller of Boyne City; granddaughter, Jennifer (Scott) Cardinal and children, Silken and Kincaid Newman. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Vickie Greiner, and her brothers, Robert Wiswell and Garth Wiswell.

Visitation is Saturday, October 13th, from 1-2 pm at Shelby Congregational United Church of Christ. The memorial service will follow at 2 pm also at the church with Pastor Dan Barnum-Steggerda officiating.
