Winifred’s Obituary Winifred A. Cooper, age 83 of Morrill, NE, formerly of Huron, SD, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Heritage Estates Care Center in Gering, NE. Her graveside service will be at 1:30 PM on, Friday, May 10, 2019 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Huron, SD. Winifred A. Sibley, the daughter of W. Edwin and Stella (Olmstead) Sibley, was born on November 26, 1935 in Huron, SD.

She attended school and graduated from Huron High School. Winifred also attended Huron College with a degree in Secondary Education. She taught Secondary education and also worked as a bank teller until her health forced her to retire.

Winifred married Richard H. Cooper on February 20, 1966 in Huron, SD. The couple moved to Chadron, NE in 1986 when Richard got a job as a clerk for the C&NW Railroad. They then relocated to Morrill, NE in 1990.

Grateful for having shared in Winifred’s life are her husband, Richard; two nieces, Janet Olivera and Ellen Sibley; and nephew, Mark Sibley. Winifred was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Eugene Sibley.
