She was born April 13, 1927 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of the late S.L. and Lillie Morton Garrett. She had worked for various companies as a Bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Allen and daughter, Pat Glazer. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kim Allen of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sisters, Melba Dean Garrett and Marjorie Shelley both of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; grandchildren, Nicholl, Rick, Stephanie and Albert; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be announced at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
