Xinh Thi Carnes, 85, was granted her angel wings and reunited with her husband on Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was a longtime resident of Orange Park, Florida and passed away peacefully in her home with her loving daughter and cherished friend by her side. Xinh, born on April 15, 1933 in Vietnam, traveled and lived in several different countries before settling with her family in Orange Park.

She was a home maker who enjoyed being outside tending to her vegetable garden and flower beds. She could often be seen as she walked her neighborhood and chatted with friends she met along the way. She was a warm, compassionate woman with a terrific sense of humor, infectious smile, and willing ear.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew her. Xinh was preceded in death by her husband James Carnes, son Thong Le, father Hui Lam, and mother Nhan Huynh. She is survived by her daughter Lili Wise, son-in-law Rudy Wise, sisters Lung Beurnez of France and Suu Huynh of Vietnam, and numerous nieces and nephews.

At her request, only an interment graveside service will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd. , Orange Park, FL on Friday, March 8, at 1:00 pm.
