Obituary for Yitzhak Rabinowitz Yitzchak Yirmiyahu Rabinowitz, a father and grandfather who had homes in Jerusalem and Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Friday, 22 Kislev, 5779. He was 55 and passed away suddenly after a heart attack while in Ohio on Friday. Yitzchak was in the real estate business, based out of Columbus, Ohio, commuting regularly from his home in Jerusalem.

Yitzchak was active in Chabad of Columbus, Ohio, serving as the President of the Schottenstein Chabad House at Ohio State University and working hand in hand with the Shluchim in their activities. He was not only a supporter of Chabad causes, but a dear friend to the Shluchim at Ohio State University in Columbus, Rabbi Levi Andrusier and Rabbi Zalman Deitsch, both Shluchim at OSU, told COLlive. “Yitzchak poured his heart and soul into helping the Shluchim at the Schottenstein Chabad House at Ohio State University,” Rabbi Andrusier told COLlive.

“He spent hundreds of hours encouraging us and challenging us to do bigger and greater Peulos”. He is survived by his wife, Leah (nee Hartman) and children Mrs. Bella Weiss, Monsey, NY, Rabbi Mendy Rabinowitz, Rishon Letziyon, Israel, Chana, Arik, Zev and Miri. He is also survived by his mother, Shoshana Rabinowitz and siblings Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Lakewood, NJ, Rabbi Dubi Rabinowitz, Crown Heights and Yossi Rabinowitz, Kfar Chabad.

He was predeceased by his father, Rabbi Moshe Lipa Rabinowitz OBM, who passed away in 2014.
